Recap of the previous low-pressure pipe repair that leaked again during vacuuming, and discovery that the manifold gauge hose itself was hissing at its metal fitting.

Explains the normal three-hose vacuum setup and a workaround using only two hoses by connecting red to the pump and switching the blue hose between low and high sides.

Vacuums the low side then swaps adapter and hose to the high side, but after 30 minutes the system fails to hold vacuum and returns to atmospheric pressure.

Considers handing the job to a shop but double-checks the low-side O-ring installation, finds nothing wrong, and decides to add a little gas to hunt for leaks.

Identifies the high-pressure pipe as the leak source, removes it and finds the month-old O-ring deformed and set, explains how O-rings seal by compression, and fits a new one straight.

Repeats the vacuum process and this time the system holds vacuum for over 30 minutes.

Purges the hoses, injects gas from the low side, starts the engine with AC on max after some gas is in to protect the compressor, reaching 9°C vent temperature and the specified 400g charge.

Leaves the gauge connected to monitor pressure, explaining the rise after shutdown as high and low sides equalize, and confirms overnight the pressure holds so the repair succeeded.

Treats rusted metal around the condenser with rust converter and paints it satin black.

The car is picked up by the new owner, who sends footage confirming the AC blows cold.
